Tom Heinselman is highly regarded as an effective coach working in tandem with organizations to ensure that their talent is maximized.
He has participated in leadership development efforts as a community service for Girl Scouts USA, American Red Cross, leaders in public and private education and Save the Children. At Save the Children, the Leadership Development Initiative Team under Tom’s direction was awarded Save the Children’s President’s Award for 2002.
Specifically, in the area of coaching, Tom has worked with hundreds of leaders at all levels and in a variety of industries. He has worked with several health care organizations and is the Leadership Development Partner for Baptist Health Care Leadership Institute.
He was formerly associated with Keilty Goldsmith & Company (KGC) for fifteen years. At KGC, Tom specialized in providing services in the areas of leadership development, organizational values, team building, executive coaching, and personal change strategies.
Prior to joining KG&C, Tom gained first-hand leadership experience as Vice President of Human Resources for a national personnel consulting firm and in various management positions at IBM. His background at IBM includes ten years in direct sales and sales management, and six years in human resources including personnel operations management.
Tom is co-author of an article, Executive Coaching Defined, appearing in the March 1999 issue of ASTD's Training & Development magazine. He is also a contributing author in the book, Coaching For Leadership, published by Jossey-Bass in 2000.
Tom earned his Bachelor of Science Degree in Mathematics from Harding University and his Masters Degree in Mathematics and Educational Psychology from Ohio University.
